Intersec debut

by Mark Rowe

The manufacturer IDIS has announced plans to debut its DirectIP surveillance products at next month’s Intersec Expo in Dubai. The exhibition will see the launch for DirectIP for the Middle East region.

IDIS will showcase the DirectIP on stand 231C, Sheikh Saeed Hall 1 during the Intersec Expo from January 19 to 21, 2014, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Packaged as a one-stop-shop solution, comprising a range of cameras, network video recorders (NVR) and video management software, the makers say that DirectIP delivers plug-and-play simplicity.

Presented across five “experience zones,” IDIS will take visitors through each zone to demonstrate how DirectIP delivers benefits across the security buying chain, from distributors, dealers, installers and integrators to end user customers.

Albert Ryu, Vice President of IDIS, said: “We looked at how the industry installs and operates analogue systems and realised that networked HD video surveillance had become far too complicated and expensive. With DirectIP, we have eliminated complicated configuration and reduced installation costs to ensure simple, everyday use—resulting in significant value across the entire security buying chain. Visitors to the IDIS stand at Intersec will have the chance to clearly see that DirectIP™ is the next generation in HD surveillance.”

Visitors pre-booking DirectIP demonstrations during Intersec, receive automatic entry into a prize draw for an iPad and other prizes. Visitors should e-mail [email protected] to book a dedicated time slot.
