Access Control

Intersec interest

by Mark Rowe

The manufacturer TDSi reports after this year’s Intersec Dubai 2014 event an unprecedented number of new business contacts and interest from visitors.

TDSi’s Managing Director, John Davies, said: “We were overwhelmed by the response from visitors to the show this year – running out of contact forms to meet demand from new visitors! There was a very positive atmosphere across the whole event, which was reflected in the keen interest from visitors to our stand.”

The access control firm’s latest products and services this year featured EXgarde 4.2 Security Management software (pictured, which now includes integration with ASSA ABLOY’s wireless locks).

“Intersec Dubai is always an important show for TDSi; it is the first big show in the annual calendar and attracts a great cross section of buyers and sellers in the security sector. Speaking to visitors and touring the event allows us to explore potential markets and equally lends our ear to what security buyers want and expect from the latest products.”

TDSi adds that it achieved a 15pc rise in turnover in the 2012/2013 financial year (compared to the previous year) and that growth accelerated further in the first quarter of the 2013 financial year with a 26pc increase over the previous year. TDSi also announced its ‘Future Trends in Access Control 2014’ white paper: www.tdsi.co.uk/Trends2014.html
