Wiring regulations

by Mark Rowe

At its final trade event this year, the electrical distribution manufacturer Hager UK will be sharing its expertise around the impending wiring regulations due to come into force in January 2015. At Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool, The National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) Live North exhibition is on Thursday, November 27.

BS7671: Amendment 3 to the wiring regulations will be a major focus and to support this, Hager UK has launched an online resource aiming to make the technical legislation easily digestible for electrical contractors and wholesalers. Attenders can quiz the Hager UK team on upcoming legislation. Steve York, Residential Market Manager at Hager UK, said: “Legislation is always changing in this industry and it can be hard for people to keep abreast with what’s going on, especially if they are always on the road. That’s why we have taken it upon ourselves as a responsible manufacturer to help educate our customers and end-users on what lies ahead and how it is relevant to them.”

Hager UK will show products including its consumer units, Sollysta wiring accessories and Invicta 3 TP&N Boards.
