Tender – Sunderland City Council

Applications are invited from suitably qualified experienced and resourced security companies who wish to express an interest in tendering for the contract to provide security guarding services within the Sunderland City Council.

Please be aware that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations are applicable.

The contract will be for a three year period between 27 March 2015 and 26 March 2018 with an option to extend the contract for a further 2 x 1 year period.

This is an electronic tender via the Council’s ProContract eTender system.

All organisations interested in this tender should register an expressed interest against this contract online at www.qtegov.com/procontract/supplier.nsf.

Tender Reference QTLE-9RMF-KTKY2K. The council will be using the Restricted Procurement Procedure to select potential tenderers and applicants will be required to complete a Pre Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) to be returned by 4pm, Friday, January 23, 2015, in accordance with the instructions in the documents.

As part of the tender process the council will hold a Supplier Briefing Event on Wednesday, 7 January 2015, 10am to noon at Sunderland City Council, Civic Centre, Burdon Road, Sunderland, SR2 7DN, Committee Room 6.
