Dahua Technology, the Chinese manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance products based in Hangzhou, has introduced its 2-inch network mini PTZ series cameras to the market.
The network PTZ series supports up to 25/30 frames per second at 1080P, 50/60fps at 720P resolution and H.264 and MJPEG dual-streams encoding. The pan and tilt cameras, the same size as a credit card, also feature 4x optical zoom, wide dynamic range (WDR), weatherproof, vandal-proof and other functions.
Unlike ordinary domes, the PTZ camera only needs one step to install and can be mounted to ceilings for 360 degree views.
The WDR Enhancement feature is for light variations scenes, because of its ability to combine the brightest and dimmest areas of an image and create a balanced and detailed final image.
The product was awarded for its design the Red Dot Award 2015. The SD29204S-GN also supports IR range of up to 30-metres, which can further enhancing the image quality. Visit www.dahuasecurity.com.
