London Business School has chosen at competitive tender a guarding contractor to supply a range of services at its main site in Regent’s Park, north London. Contractors were required to demonstrate experience with other prestigious organisations with high footfall, delivering customer care.
Cordant Security will provide a team of 18 guards to provide 24-7 support, plus a dedicated concierge in charge of front of house. All security personnel will be dressed in smart, dark suits, rather than uniforms, therefore projecting a strong visual presence which also reflects the business ethos of the school. In addition Cordant Security will also manage the protocols around events that attract high profile visitors.
The firm points to security challenges: the complex nature of the site and the large number of visitors and guests. Cordant says it will work with businesses in the area, sharing information and best practice to ensure that the community is working together.
