Some 6000 km in ten days across two continents – from Biarritz to Marrakesh – some 2300 students take on this challenge in the 4L Trophy Rally. Requirements: Be a student in a Renault 4 model (4L stands for the French “Quatrelle”, a nickname for that type of Renault), get to the starting line and have 50kg of school supplies for children in Morocco with you.

The CCTV product firm Geutebrück France is supporting two students, Claire Amiotte and Marine Dupond. Olivier Mai, Managing Director of Geutebrück France says: “I wish these two young women the best of luck on this amazing adventure. The entire Geutebrück France team is proud to have been a part of this humanitarian challenge.”

The objective of the race; to demonstrate team spirit and to take part in an adventure. Solidarity among the teams can be seen elsewhere as well: as the students are transporting school supplies. This results in over 60 tons of books, pens and backpacks. The aid organization “Enfants du Désert“ (Children of the Desert) receive these materials in Morocco and distributes them to schools.
