Access Control

Global General Manager

Gallagher has promoted Mark Junge to Global General Manager for its security division from his most recent role as chief operating officer.

Junge, pictured, has been with Gallagher for more than 13 years and on the security division’s leadership team for six years. He has stepped into the role vacated by Kahl Betham, who has moved to deputy chief executive of the group.

In January, Richard Huison stepped up to General Manager for UK and Europe a year after joining Gallagher from Vanderbilt Industries’ access control brand ACT. These recent moves are part of the leadership succession plan after the announcement in November of chief executive and chairman Sir William Gallagher’s intention to retire to an executive director role within the next two to three years.

Betham said: “Gallagher’s security business has achieved massive success within the last four years. We are fortunate to have a very strong executive leadership team, and Mark has the ideal skill set to take over the role of Global GM and continue our journey of success.”

Gallagher has UK offices in Nuneaton. Visit https://security.gallagher.com.
