Way to beat cybercrime

by msecadm4921

The spring SASIG meeting of security people called for companies to get back to basics in the fight against cybercrime. Held at Thomson Reuters in Canary Wharf in east London on March 15, 2012, the Security Awareness Special Interest Group’s findings have been published in a report on The Security Company‘s website.

“This year’s spring SASIG Meeting focused on the theme of cyber security in an attempt to get back to basics in ensuring security awareness covers all points of contact whether traditional or online,” reports Hannah Tufts of The Security Company. “Cybercriminals are highly organised, collaborative, unpredictable and difficult to detect, and the SASIG report will help companies to think beyond borders and adopt a converged approach to enable them to collaborate as effectively as the criminals do.”
