Beauty Cream Keepers

by msecadm4921

The beauty products retail sector has a Christmas makeover with the introduction of Alpha’s health and beauty cream keepers for products such as Oil of Olay, Nivea, RoC and St Tropez.

So reports Blue Rock Security, installer of commercial and retail security.

Joanne Lee, Alpha business development manager at Northamptonshire-based Blue Rock, teamed up with Alpha’s product development team to create a beauty cream keeper product. The new keepers are already being used at one of the UK’s leading high street chemists in the run-up to Christmas and are being trialled by a supermarket chain, the firm adds.

What they say

Joanne says: "With beauty and anti-ageing creams being in such high demand these days, the rate of shrinkage of key branded products has gone through the roof. The introduction of Alpha health and beauty cream keepers has meant that these products can still be displayed securely within the store, without detracting from the visual impact of the packaging. Retailers have been looking for a flexible, simple and cost-effective way to protect one of their most stolen items and Alpha’s bespoke health and beauty keepers have met these criteria exactly. The impact that these keepers are having on shrinkage is dramatic. With built-in benefit-denial, not only do these Alpha health and beauty keepers act as a deterrent, but they are making a dramatic difference to profit margins on these high-value items in the run-up to Christmas."
