Biometric Launch

by msecadm4921

A new web based company offering biometric technology has been launched by Merseyside-based identity management consultants Human Recognition Systems (HRS).

www.simplybiometrics.com features more than 100 products from companies such as Ingersoll Rand, Panasonic, Hitachi, Fujitsu, Sagem, Bioscrypt, CrossMatch and L1. The site allows system integrators, installers and security consultants to purchase biometric security products such as hand, fingerprint, face, iris or vein recognition which are becoming available in lower volumes as technology becomes more affordable, according to the Liverpool firm.

Neil Norman CEO from Simply Biometrics said: "This kind of hi-tech security technology is increasingly being adopted by larger businesses and operations which require high security solutions. The products sold by Simply Biometrics have not widely been available on this basis until now. The site allows customers to buy a lower number of units of a particular product, making biometrics far more affordable and attractive to businesses which haven’t used them before.

"This opens up biometrics security to new markets. For example, a construction company wanting to improve security at a specific site or a factory owner modernising the time and attendance system. Previously, biometrics might not have been an affordable solution." Also offered are bespoke training programmes so customers receive the required technical support to install and use the products. The site also gives customers access to experienced technical consultants and support staff.

Parent company HRS is a biometric and identity management consulting, technology and systems integration companies, working with major businesses such as construction firm Carillion, WHSmith, Next and Manchester Airport.
