Kane Computing Ltd (KCL) has been appointed as UK Distributor for Acustek, the affiliated representative office for Speech Technology Centre (STC), to sell their digital audio recording and speech enhancement products, voice biometrics and audio analysis solutions.

Products include multi-channel audio recording, digital voice recorders, noise cancellation software, text decoding, speech enhancement, audio analysis, speaker identification and speaker search systems.

Richard White, Managing Director of Northwich, Cheshire–based KCL, said: “This gives us the ability to address a wide range of audio recording and audio analysis needs that our existing video security clients are waiting for.”

Products such as Smart Logger and Small Logger can record voice conversations from analogue and digital telephone lines, radio channels and microphones and Smart Logger-VoIP can now capture and decode VoIP audio traffic in a LAN, covering applications such as call centre’s, emergency services and the police.

Personal digital voice recorders such as Gnome P, Gnome-Nano and Gnome 2M provide a range of recorders to cover a wide range of users including law enforcement, security companies, emergency services, commercial business’ etc.

Avidius offers video recording as well as audio recording, using JPEG2000 compression for loss-less recording.

Other products provide speech enhancement, such as Sound Cleaner Premium, which provides real-time noise cancellation and speech enhancement for police laboratories, audio engineers and universities. Other products relate to these areas, such as ANF a professional noise filtering device and a denoiser box.

Other products for forensic audio laboratories include IKAR Lab, EdiTracker and VoiceNET providing speech signal analysis to identify, authenticate and enhance audio signals and to spot evidence of tape editing and tampering.
