Manchester date

by Mark Rowe

The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) spring exhibition and conference is to return to Manchester next year, at the city’s Bridgewater Hall on Thursday, March 26.

Aimed at local businesses, besides security businesses in the north west, the event is supported by Greater Manchester Police and the Manchester City Centre Crime Prevention Panel. In 2014, the event saw its 20th year and drew over 200 delegates from a range of organisations including city centre retailers, banks and local public sector bodies. Seminars featured a panel of speakers including Manchester’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Tony Lloyd. The 2015 line-up is to be announced in the new year. The event includes an exhibition (pictured is March 2014’s, also at Bridgewater Hall), for security companies to showcase products and services. Last year, delegates attended from the private and public sector, including Morrisons, Selfridges and Manchester City Council.

Exhibition space for 2015’s event is now available to book at a cost of £795 plus VAT, which includes full access to the delegate list, with a 3m x 2m exhibition space and pre-event promotion to potential delegates. Sponsorship opportunities will also be available. To register interest in exhibiting at Manchester Security 2015 can do so via a downloadable booking form, available from http://bit.ly/1yvSYRQ.

To attend free as delegates, register via the BSIA’s online registration form at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/manchester2015.
