IFSEC International announces the return of the Future of Security Theatre, created with Tavcom Training, to IFSEC 2020 which is due to run from May 19 to 21 at London Excel.

IFSEC and Tavcom report a long partnership that has made the Theatre a mainstay at the event. The theatre educates visitors about the changing security landscape, highlighting the latest technology and ideas shaping the sector. Last year it hosted several Tavcom tutors, as well as Steve Lampett of the BSIA; James Morris, Director of at ASIS UK, Prof Alison Wakefield, pictured, who’s chair of the Security Institute, and BT security managers Ruth Sanders and Sodhi Dhillon.

Tavcom based in Hampshire are providers of technical security training courses, covering CCTV installation, design and maintenance, intruder alarm installation, access control, fire alarms, IP networking, and electro-technical work. In 2020, the Theatre will be sponsored for the first time by Texecom, the electronic security products and services company, and a regular exhibitor at IFSEC. Texecom has partnered with Tavcom to launch the Texecom Academy, a technical training service for security people to adapt to their industry’s changing technology landscape.

Clym Brown, Marketing Director at Texecom said: “We are delighted that installers visiting IFSEC will have the opportunity to learn and gain knowledge from the Future of Security Theatre.
