We’re searching for a Business Development Manager to be a fundamental member of our clients UK sales team. You will need natural business development skills and self-determination to be able to hit the ground running as a leading member of our team. Working for a manufacturer of fire maintenance software you will be based in London/Southeast.
This role allows you to be hands-on in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment. If you’re successful, there will be opportunities for career development within a rapidly growing business.
Their core product is a cloud-based, field-service management software for asset maintenance with a focus on the fire maintenance and HVAC industry. You will be joining a successful new business that has a headcount of approximately 45 people currently working for the business.
Responsibilities
- Develop a pipeline through outbound activity, partnership referrals and your own network.
- Own the entire sales cycle, including planning, cold calling, qualifying, obtaining and closing new business opportunities to achieve and exceed your personal targets.
- Maintain accurate sales data, pipeline forecasting and deal statuses using a variety of tools.
- Provide insights and feedback into the value proposition and commercial positioning of the product.
- Attend conferences, tradeshows and industry events.
- Assist our customer success team to successfully onboard new clients.
Remuneration
- £45-50k basic + commission (£30-60% of base) £80k OTE on average.
- Travel expenses covered.
