Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: South London
Rate: £165 p/day
Technical Resources is looking for a skilled Data Cabling Engineer for a project involving the installation of Cat6 UFTP from outlets to cab on podiums and eco’s, including testing and terminating. This role requires precision, expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Description of Contract/Programme of Works:
- Installation of Cat6 UFTP cabling from outlets to cab on podiums and eco’s.
- Testing and terminating of Cat6 cabling to ensure high performance and reliability.
Experience Required:
- Proficiency in Cat6 terminating with a strong track record in similar projects.
- Minimum experience within the data cabling field is preferred, highlighting expertise with Cat6 cabling.
Required Documentation/Certifications/Tooling:
- An ECS/CSCS card is essential for this role.
- IPAF certification is required to safely work at heights when necessary.
- Contractors are expected to supply their own hand tools, terminating tools, and drill.
- Full PPE is required; however, all but boots will be provided.
