Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Cambridgeshire
Rate: £165 p/day
Technical Resources is on the lookout for a skilled Data Cabling Engineer with specific experience in CAT6 cable installations, terminating, and testing, particularly with Excel cable. This role demands precision, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality cabling infrastructure.
Description of Contract/Programme of Works:
- Installation of CAT6 (Excel cable) across various sites.
- Terminating and testing CAT6 cables to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
Experience Required:
- Proven expertise in CAT6 cable installation, including terminating and testing.
- Familiarity with Excel cable and its specific handling and installation requirements.
Required Documentation/Certifications/Tooling:
- An ECS/CSCS card is required for this position.
- Contractors must supply their own standard hand tools and termination tools.
- Full PPE is mandatory for all site work.
