Job Title: Emergency Lights Engineer

Location: West London

Rate: £220 p/day

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Lights Engineer to carry out emergency light testing and replacements across social housing sites in West London. The role involves completing up to 20 monthly or quarterly flick tests daily, ensuring all emergency lighting systems are functioning correctly and comply with safety standards.

Description of contract/programme of works:

  • Conduct emergency light testing and replacements across various social housing sites in West London.
  • Perform up to 20 flick tests per day, adhering to monthly or quarterly schedules.
  • Ensure all emergency lighting systems meet regulatory standards and operate efficiently.

Experience required:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in emergency light testing and electrical maintenance.
  • Proficiency in conducting flick tests and replacing emergency lighting systems.
  • Familiarity with social housing sites and the ability to work efficiently across multiple locations.

Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

  • DBS check is essential due to the nature of working within social housing environments.
  • ECS card is beneficial, indicating adherence to safety and professional standards.
  • Electrical qualifications are beneficial, providing a solid foundation for emergency lighting work.
  • Contractors must supply their own hand tools, power tools, steps, and ladders suitable for the tasks at hand.
  • Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be provided by the contractor and worn as required to ensure safety on site.
