Job Title: Fire and Security Engineer
Location: Newcastle
Rate: £230 p/day
Are you a Fire and Security Engineer looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire and Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of a range of fire alarm and electronic security systems across commercial and industrial sites.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Installation, service, and maintenance of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
- Work on both addressable and conventional fire alarm panels in line with BS5839 standards.
- Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently across multiple systems and manufacturers.
- Collaborate with commissioning engineers and site managers to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Maintain all paperwork accurately and ensure compliance with site health and safety procedures.
Experience required:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working on fire and security systems.
- Experience with major manufacturers such as Advanced, Kentec, C-Tec, Hikvision, Paxton, Texecom, or Galaxy.
- Knowledge of both installation and servicing processes.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS Card.
- Hand tools and power tools suitable for installation and servicing.
- Full PPE and own vehicle.
