Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer

Location: North East England

Rate: £220 p/day

We are seeking an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer in North East England to perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across a variety of security and safety systems. This contract position requires robust technical knowledge and hands-on skills to ensure all systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms, are maintained to high standards.

Description of contract/programme of works:

  • Perform PPMs on fire alarms (Advanced, Haes, Notifier, Gent), CCTV (IP and analogue – Hikvision), access control (Paxton), intruder alarms (Galaxy, Premier, Menvier, Texecom), and emergency lighting.
  • Expected to complete a minimum of 5 PPMs per day, maintaining operational excellence and compliance with safety regulations.

Experience required:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in fire and security system service and maintenance.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high standards in a dynamic work environment

Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

  • DBS clearance.
  • Additional fire qualifications are beneficial.
  • Must supply hand tools, fire test equipment, drills, steps, and ladders.
  • Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • An Android phone or tablet is required for completing electronic dockets.
