Role: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Bedfordshire
Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 per annum
Technical Resources is currently seeking a Fire and Security Service Engineer in Bedfordshire with experience in fire systems, emergency lights, intruder alarms, CCTV systems and access control systems. Knowledge of fire suppression would be beneficial but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out work to industry standards, NSI and BAFE.
- Carry out system commissioning and handovers to customers.
- Carry out fault findings on systems.
- Clear and concise communication with the supervisors regarding customer issues.
- Electronic reporting and use of customer portals.
- Effective control of stock & vehicle audit.
- Awareness of Health & Safety.
- To present a professional appearance.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Understanding of BS5839:1, BS5266:1 and BS7671.
- Experience of BAFE SP203-1 and all NSI standards.
- Previous experience is necessary.
- Must have full UK driving licence.
- Good timekeeping.
- Customer orientated.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
- Dynamic, forward thinking, and ambitious.
