Job Title: F&S Installation Engineer
Location: South West
Rate: Up to £34,000
Technical Resources is seeking a dedicated Fire Installation Engineer in the South West. This role involves assisting with the onsite first and second fix installation of comprehensive fire and security systems, including Fire Detection & Alarm Systems, PAVA Systems, CCTV, Access Control, and more. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence, flexibility, and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with first and second fix installations across a range of systems including Fire Detection, CCTV, Access Control, and Data Cabling.
- Engage in containment installation, utilising skills in steel wire basket, cable tray, conduit, and trunking.
- Perform fault finding and rectification, collaborating closely with team members to solve issues.
- Contribute to the completion of reports and adhere to quality, health & safety policies.
- Participate in continuous training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver presentations.
- Proficiency in MS Office products and comfortable with IT software.
- Analytical thinking with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
- Confidence in working at heights and flexibility in working hours, including weekends.
- Willingness to travel and work at various locations across the UK and Europe.
- Full UK Driving License is essential.
- Multi-disciplined (fire & security).
