Role: Regional Service Manager

Location: South West

Salary: £45,000 – £48,000 per annum + Car + Bonus

Technical Resources are recruiting for a Regional Service Manager to own service delivery and performance across the South West.

Responsibilities:

  • Full ownership of regional service operations, ensuring PPM, SLA and compliance targets are met.
  • Plan and allocate resources to ensure the right skills are on the right jobs.
  • Manage the regional P&L and deliver profitability targets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop engineers and lead engineers; run performance reviews and competency assessments.
  • Oversee scheduling to optimise labour deployment and call-out response.
  • Drive continuous improvement to achieve 85%+ first-time fix through stock control, training and data insight.
  • Review service dockets daily, tracking job completion and identifying follow-on works.
  • Produce weekly reports on engineer performance, customer SLAs and job progress.
  • Control service department costs (timesheets, expenses, parts, fuel).
  • Act as the primary escalation point for urgent customer issues and manage subcontractor performance.
  • Take full ownership of customer service delivery and satisfaction across the region.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Proven experience in a similar management role within Fire & Security.
  • Track record leading and developing large, often remote, service engineer teams.
  • Strong practical industry knowledge with the capability to provide hands-on technical support.
  • Confident, professional leadership style; resilient decision-maker who can handle challenging situations.
