Role: Site Manager

Location: London

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join a team in constructing high-quality sports pitches and surfaces. This includes everything from 3G football pitches, hockey and tennis courts, to Olympic-sized running tracks and athletics fields. The position focuses on overseeing multiple projects within the Greater London area and North of London.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the successful delivery of sports pitch and surface projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the high standards the company is known for.
  • Coordinate and manage on-site operations, including subcontractors and materials.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety standards on all project sites.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Manage project documentation, including plans, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure smooth project execution.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Background in civil engineering, with specific experience in Highways, Artificial Pitches, or related Civil projects.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering construction projects successfully.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of managing diverse teams and engaging with clients effectively.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
