Charity golf day

Monday, September 23 is the day and Hertfordshire Golf and County Club is the place for the SSR charity golf day, in aid of the charity Combat Stress. The day will start from 9am for registration, where you can enjoy a bacon roll, with tea or coffee. Warm up/practice facilities are available before the first tee time of 10.34am. It will be an individual full handicap, stableford competition over 18 holes to decide the prizes. Maximum handicap โ€“ Men (24), Women (28). There will be a nearest the pin and longest drive prize, on selected holes.

Once your round is complete, you will be able to enjoy a two course dinner, with prize giving and raffle to follow. The price will be ยฃ60 per player, with a concession for four-balls booked, at ยฃ220. Combat Stress is a UK charity that specialises in the treatment and support of British Armed Forces veterans who have mental health problems. Mental ill-health affects ex-servicemen and women of all ages. It’s supporting 5,000 veterans aged from 20 to 101.
