A facilities management (FM) contractor has won a facilities contract with Clapham One, the landmark new-build on Clapham High Street in south London.
Under the contract, which is for an initial 12-months with an option to extend for another 12 months, the firm OCS will provide security and concierge services on behalf of managing agent Braemar Estates. This involves supporting and welcoming building residents, users and visitors. Other services provided are: access and egress control; control of keys; health and safety management; and monitoring of fire panels and emergency contacting procedures. The contract started on February 11, 2013.
About Clapham One
The development, designed by Studio Egret West and delivered by specialist public private partnership developers Cathedral Group with United House, replaces a rundown block of flats and offices. These include a new sustainable leisure centre, a community library, a GP surgery and 155 one and two-bedroom apartments on two sites.
