by Mark Rowe

After inspection Integrated Security Design Ltd have been awarded NSI Gold.

NSI is an Internationally recognised specialist approvals and certification body for the security and fire industries. NSI accreditation recognises a companyโ€™s ability to consistently carry out work of a high quality, which meets the requirement of the insurance industry, police, and fire and rescue services.

NSI approved companies are required to meet all relevant British and European Standards for technical performance and to comply with the requirements of PD6662:2010, NACP30 and NCP104 (Iss2) BS8243. The documented management system must meet the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001 2008 and SSQS 101.6.

The external auditor made the following comments: โ€œThe staff and directors demonstrated throughout the โ€˜Assessment Auditโ€™ visits a good knowledge of the QMS and technical standards within the electronic security industry. Six systems were selected for inspection, each had been designed and installed to meet the requirements of PD6662:2010, NACP30 and NCP104 (Iss2). The workmanship was good throughout each protected premise inspected. Compliance with standards was good on all installations.โ€ Pictured from left: Robin Dansie Operations Director ISD; Jeff Little Chief Executive NSI; and Nicky Stokes Managing Director ISD Tech Ltd.
