Security services providers Bowles Security Services (UK) Ltd (BSS) and Alpha Plus Security Ltd (APSL) have announced a merger between the two companies, to form TSG National Ltd.
The merger say the two companies enables them to offer clients a greater depth of resource as a result. The firms add that it is expected that the merger will secure the future for both businesses and create one company.
The integration of the two will take place over the coming months at a pace that suits the companies and their employees and that is acceptable to all clients. TSG National Ltd is a new company formed and held by the current directors to combine the two operating companies. It will be headed by Brian Mein as Chairman and Nigel Godden as Managing Director.
Brian Mein said: “This merger will enable us to further improve the service levels for all our clients, providing a greater depth of management and geographical coverage. Alpha Plus Security Ltd shares BSS’ vision and ethos of great service, great people, great performance. We believe that the union of our two businesses will greatly benefit our clients.”
Nigel Godden said: “Looking ahead, our immediate focus is to deliver added-value to our clients. It will take time to deliver the full benefits of the merger but we are confident that we now have greater strength and depth to provide our customers with first class value-for-money service.”
Mr Godden added: “We recently introduced a new Control Room Facility with remote monitoring and Physical Security Information Management Systems (PSIM) which, coupled with the shared best practice between our two companies will enable us to deliver further improved levels of customer service.”
