Winners of the Imbert Prize will be announced at the annual luncheon of the Association of Security Consultants (ASC)
It’s again at the RAF Club in Piccadilly, London, on Thursday, June 26.
The ASC encourages the development of ideas for the advancement of risk and security management in the UK through this annual award. The Imbert Prize is named after one of the ASC’s patrons, Lord Peter Imbert, former Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police.
Three separate categories are involved in the awards:
Selected Academic Dissertation
An award for a selected dissertation submitted by an academic institution that is relevant to consultancy in security. Cranfield, Leicester, Loughborough and Portsmouth Universities are invited to submit on behalf of one of their students
The Security Industry Award
To the person who has made the most notable contribution in the Security Industry during the preceding year. Nominated by ASIS, BSIA, IPSA and TSI.
The ASC Member Award
To the ASC member who has made the most significant contribution to independent security consultancy in the preceding year. Nominated by members of the ASC.
