Bell Name Change

by msecadm4921

Security systems firm Bell Security announced a change of name. Later this year the company will become Niscayah Ltd. It’s Sanskrit for ‘secure’ and ‘reliable’.

The firm is adopting the new branding strategy via its parent, Swedish-listed Securitas Systems AB.

Established for over 20 years, as Bell Group plc the company was fully listed on the London Stock Exchange from 1999 until its acquisition in 2004. Bell says the change is mainly to strengthen the group’s position from an international perspective. It reflects a growth in requests from its increasingly multi-national customer base to be able to show consistent and unified support internationally.

UK Country President Bjorn Lohne said: ”Adopting this new name, alongside our overseas sister businesses, will allow us to promote, with greater clarity, the strengths we offer as a business group, particularly to customers requiring our skills and competences internationally. As we change we don’t leave Bell’s history and achievements behind. They are the essence of many of the drivers at the heart of our new brand strategy.”
