The British Retail Consortium (BRC) retail crime and loss prevention conference 2011 runs on October 13.
The venue is Victoria Park Plaza, 239 Vauxhall Bridge Road, London SW1V 1EQ. Topics will include Government changes in crime policy and the impact on retailers; police reform; loss prevention techniques on a budget; and fraud and ecrime.
Crime prevention is the association says undergoing significant policy changes and crime specialists must to be fully aware of how to respond to these changes. In addition to the political agenda, there is a need to examine the growing threat of ecrime, the continuing operational and people issues and the ever present need to find technology that can help businesses manage loss prevention in an effective and cost efficient way.
