CISO Summit

by msecadm4921

MIS Training is running its sixth Annual CISO Executive Summit and Roundtable, from June 10 to 12, at the Marriott Hotel, Lisbon.

Organisers are offering a 10 per cent discount to readers if they quote this article. Topics include data loss; privacy assurance; cyber-crime; and risk.

As executive boards are threatening to reduce security & IT budgets, how can you resist the pressure to cut corners and ensure that your security strategy remains focused, integral to the business and uncompromised? So ask the event organisers. The CISO summit is aimed at information security directors. Case studies will cover the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) role and realities – a candid mix of what they are actually doing to approach information security challenges; and what they would like to do in an ideal world. In other words, how the CISO ideally works with corporate security, the CTO, Chief Risk Officer, CIO, CEO and Legal. The event is held under the Chatham House rule.

Speakers invited include:

Dave Pope, Head of Information Security – Information Assurance Group, DVLA
Ray Stanton, Global Head of Business Continuity, Security & Governance Practice, BT
Eduardo Gelbstein, Senior Security Advisor, United Nations & French Audit Office
Marcus Alldrick, CISO, Lloyd’s
Charles V. Pask, Managing Director, ITSEC Associates Ltd

Richard Cross, CISO, Toyota Motor Europe
