CP In Libya

by msecadm4921

The Inkerman Group has announced that it has qualified and licensed Close Protection teams working in Tripoli, Libya.

Companies with business interests in Libya are facing the challenge of responding to the current situation in Libya and many board rooms throughout the world continue to discuss the issue of when it will be appropriate and safe to return staff and resources to the oil producer.

The Inkerman Group has responded to clients by sending an active operational team in-country now, supported by its own 24/7/365 Operations Centre in the UK, which is delivering risk management and security services including Executive Close Protection, Premises And Asset Protection, besides information and intelligence about the region.

The consultancy says that it has deployed teams in-country at a time when there are still very few independent intelligence sources available to companies from within Libya and they are now working inside Tripoli reporting to client’s security teams.

Gerald Moor CEO of The Inkerman Group, says: “Libya continues to be challenging and a very pressurised environment in-country. We have quickly discovered critical information for our clients about their commercial interests, premises and people since arriving in country, and at a time when there is generally little or no independent intelligence available to them."

As well as providing security and advice, Inkerman adds that it is working with clients and providing important intelligence, in real-time and from those ‘on the ground’ so that businesses have the relevant information on which to make solid business decisions.
