Crime And Loss Conference

What does the new Coalition government have to say for itself? The British Retail Consortium annual retail crime and loss prevention conference will hear on October 13 in London, at a new venue: the Park Plaza Victoria.

One of the Home Office ministers, James Brokenshire, is among the invited speakers. Retail and loss speakers include Steve Hearn, group head of risk at Jaeger; Phillip Hagon, head of Corporate Security, Sainsburys; Mike Wyeth, Board Security Adviser, Shop Direct Group; Alan Brown, Group Security Director, Tesco; and from The Co-operative, Andy Pope, National Business Crime Partnership Manager and Paul Winstanley, National Operations Manager.

Also speaking, Kent Assistant Chief Constable Allyn Thomas, ACPO’s business crime lead; Andy Godfrey, Public Policy Manager, Boots; Met Police Det Chief Supt Alaric Bonthron; Chris Phillips, head of The National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) and Stephen Harrison, the National Fraud Authority’s director of enforcement.
