Joe Rigatonis, a chain of four Italian restaurants in the North East, specified 30 mono, non-ruggedised cameras for discreet internal surveillance. Restaurant owners can dial into each restaurant from head office and discreetly monitor each outlet, in opening hours, and after hours. Ten Sony SSC-MD33VCE mono mini domes have been installed in the Joe Rigatonis restaurant in Darlington and another ten Sony mini domes, to the same specification, in Hartlepool. Ten more domes will be installed at the company?s Sunderland branch. Poalo Arceri, proprietor of Joe Rigatonis, says: ?We were more than happy with the picture quality and performance from the original Sony CCTV cameras. The discreet nature and compact size of the new mini domes impressed us enormously and were an obvious choice for our other restaurants.? Middlesbrough-based Sony SAIF installer, Crimewatch Systems, was installer. The chain?s relationship with Sony goes back to the first installation, at their Middlesbrough restaurant, where 16 Sony Exwave M320 one-third inch mono cameras were originally specified.
