SRS Door Entry Systems, and manufacturers of door entry and access control systems, has launched a new express delivery service for vandal-resistant door entry kits with stainless steel name plates.
It provides installers with a same day service and enables audio and video panel installations to be completed to meet customer deadlines, the firm reports. To provide this turnaround, SRS Door Entry Systems stocks a range of pre-engraved stainless steel name plates as an alternative to waiting to have the panel manufactured and engraved. One to ten button vandal resistant audio panels are available in a range of standard sizes for same day dispatch. SRS has also an engraving machine enabling bespoke vandal resistant audio panels to be engraved to client specifications with details such as house name and visitor instructions.

Door entry kits
SRS says that it is the only manufacturer to provide vandal resistant door entry kits constructed of rustproof BS316 marine grade stainless steel throughout including the back box and purpose-designed speaker baffle plate. Panels are hinged, which makes them easier to install and eliminates damage to wiring when carrying out routine maintenance. All the nuts, bolts and screws used are also stainless steel for maximum protection against corrosion and a long operational life, it is claimed. The panels are available in a range of standard sizes from 136x250mm to 273x405mm and can be configured with one to 60 buttons as well as keypads, proximity readers or CCD cameras. All SRS door entry kits include a built-in 12V AC/DC supply for lock release and adjustable lock release timer that enables visitors to be admitted with a single quick key press. Custom sizes are also available and delivery will be quoted on request.
