For the first time, the charity Crimestoppers is featuring photographs of football hooligans on the ‘Most Wanted’ section of its website.

In response to the needs of the police Crimestoppers will publish photographs of individuals thought to be involved in violent disorder incidents during and after football matches. We will now be asking the public to view these images in a special category on Most Wanted and identify the individuals displayed.<br><br>The first batch of appeals to go live are 32 photographs of football hooligans involved in violent scenes at the FA Cup match between Hull City and Millwall on 24 January 2009 at the KC Stadium.<br><br>Large numbers of rival fans ripped up seats during the match which they used as missiles during Hull’s 2-0 win.<br><br>Dave Cording, Crimestoppers’ Director of Operations, pictured, said: “We are urging the public to help the police by identifying these individuals who were involved in disrupting this football match.<br><br>“Most people who attend matches are there for the right reasons in getting behind their team and enjoying the game. Unfortunately there still exists an unpleasant minority of fans whose intention is to cause criminal damage and incite violence. Please help us stop them.
