Una Riley, Group Head of Communications at SectorGuard, has applied for and been successful in becoming a Fellow of the Security Institute.
She was presented with her certificate by Baroness Ruth Henig, Chairman of the Security Industry Authority, at the official launch of the SectorGuard Anglo American Exchange (SAAE) on Thursday, May 8.
Una joined TSI in its first year, joining in Septmeber 2000. The institute has 59 members of which 11 are fellows.

The occasion of the award was the SectorGuard Anglo American Exchange. It is a new programme aimed at introducing an exchange of ‘best practice’ between security officers based in the UK and US. Two American officers will be seconded to the UK for a week in July during which their itinerary includes visits to the Palace of Westminster, the Tower of London, Harrods, University College London an d University College Hospital. Applications will open next month for the UK officers, who will travel to the US in October, for a similar week of visits.
