CCTV lighting product manufacturer Raytec have announced the RM200 long range IR illuminator in the market.
The RM200 provides, the firm says, a "green" lighting solution for installers and delivers savings on running and maintenance costs. RM200 can illuminate distances up to 300m from an electrical consumption of only 80W, the highest distance to electrical consumption ratio of any IR illuminator, it is claimed. This efficiency, with low maintenance and Raytec’s five year warranty delivers a yearly cost saving up to £368 when compared to a 500W illuminator, it is claimed.
