HID Global has launched Identity on Demand (IoD). It’s described as a service that provides expertise and speed needed to make custom credential and ID badges.

Offered are card design, database management and card personalisation. IoD services manages the administrative tasks of customer ID projects. HID Global says that it’s committed to bringing valued products and services to its channel and end-users – from blank cards to fully personalised credentials.

Offered are from laminated artwork and anti-counterfeiting techniques to variable record printing.

Sold through HID Global’s channel network of security integrators and OEMs, IoD services create opportunities for installing resellers and OEMs to extend their product and services portfolio.The firm points out that ID badging project managers may need external assistance due to tight project timelines, lack of resources or to supplement in-house card issuance capabilities.

“By introducing Identity on Demand services, HID Global has addressed a key customer need: end-to-end delivery of secure credentials, from card technology to personalization to delivery,” said Anthony Ball, senior vice president, Identity and Access Management (IAM), HID Global. “The program is designed to ensure mutual commitment to project success.”

IoD services provide card graphic design assistance to maximize the functional and branding potential of a card, providing auditing and process controls to ensure the security and integrity of cards from secure data transfer, to design, production and programming, through packaging and delivery.
