IFSEC 2011 Awards

Produced in association with the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) and sponsored by distributor Norbain, the IFSEC 2011 annual security industry awards are now open for entries.

Taking place at a black-tie gala dinner in the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on the Monday of the show, May 16, entries to the awards must be submitted by Tuesday, March 8. Awards will be handed out to the following categories which have evolved to reflect the changing landscape of the international security industry:<br><br>Product categories are open only to exhibitors participating in IFSEC 2011:<br><br>CCTV Camera Equipment of the Year <br>CCTV System of the Year <br>Intruder Alarm or Exterior Deterrent Product of the Year <br>Physical Security Product of the Year <br>Access Control Product of the Year (including biometrics) <br>Communication Product of the Year <br>Integrated Security Product of the Year. <br><br>Non-product categories are open to exhibitors and non-exhibitors:<br><br>Security Project or Security Installation of the Year <br>Guarding Service Delivery to Customer <br>Best Policing Partnership of the Year.<br><br>James Kelly, Chief Executive of BSIA, said: “The IFSEC Security Industry Awards are a fantastic opportunity to recognise the most significant contributions and developments within the industry over the past 12 months. These awards not only create a showcase for the year’s finest innovations in security products and services, but they also provide an opportunity for the industry to come together to acknowledge its progression and achievements.
