Infra-red Bullet Camera

by msecadm4921

Security equipment manufacturer EverFocus has launched the EverFocus EZ630 infra-red (IR) analogue ‘bullet-shaped’ camera. The camera features 36 LEDs around the camera lens to provide IR range of up to 60m, with variable output and IR control to manage illumination and conserve energy, the makers add.

The EZ630 uses the Sony Super HAD charge-coupled device (CCD) II sensor for 560 television lines (TVL) horizontal resolution and low light sensitivity to 0.0002 Lux/F=1.2 when adjusted to 256x maximum – equivalent of the levels of light emitted by starlight. The camera is suitable the manufacturers say for outdoors and offers IP66 weather resistance and vandal-proof protection.

The product features automatic switching to night mode for black and white images without it’s claimed ghosting.  The camera manages contrasting light levels with digital Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) expansion to produce correct exposure on images subject to dark shadows, bright lights or uneven lighting across a scene.  3D-Noise Reduction functionality also improves picture clarity and enables improved disk storage use when recording images to digital video recorders (DVRs).

The EZ630 features an auto-focus iris lens with a choice of two focal ranges, 32x digital zoom, and set up of privacy masking and motion detection zones.  A three axis bracket allows adjustment for any viewing angle.

Basil Singh, managing director, EverFocus Electronics Ltd, said: “The EZ630 offers real flexibility for installers and end-users alike.   It delivers exceptional picture quality across a wide range of lighting levels – managing bright or uneven light, deep colours in low light through to excellent clarity at night. The EZ630 has gained favourable reviews and we believe the EZ630 will gain strong acceptance in the market as a versatile outdoor surveillance camera.”

The EverFocus EZ630 camera is available now from all EverFocus distributors.
