Light Night Test

by msecadm4921

With the dark nights now upon us, and with lighting playing a part in security, the manufacturers Raytec are hosting a short and practical test night demonstration at the Safe Newcastle and Global MSC Security Seminar on November 7, showing system design techniques using LED lighting, to achieve optimum CCTV performance at night.

The test night is open to all seminar attendees and is held within the grounds of Gosforth Park as part of n evening drinks reception. CCTV lighting firm Raytec will highlight some of the issues facing security people in achieving CCTV images at night.

Raytec engineers will test the performance of the latest Infra-Red and White-Light LED technology with a range of camera and lens combinations, including IP and megapixel technology. The session will focus on the system performance, as well as the energy and cost savings made possible by switching from what the firm calls old style wasteful lighting technology to new low energy LED technology. For full details of the trials and to join the seminar, – visit the ‘Seminar’ section of www.globalmsc.net.
