During the winter months, many CCTV systems have to operate in the most challenging of conditions which can result in useless footage unless the right lighting solutions are put in place. Surveillance systems that integrate the right light source will achieve the highest levels of safety and security at night. IP video surveillance systems are no different….
So say manufacturers Axis and Raytec: who are running free educational test nights to help installers and users of IP video get the most from their system. With network cameras enabling end users to view live footage at anytime from anywhere, it is even more crucial to ensure images 24/7, say network video provider Axis Communications and LED lighting firm Raytec.
Three test night events will be held in November and December in the South of England, Scotland and Ireland. The aim; to show attendees how well-designed lighting can transform the quality of footage captured at night time. Each test session will include:
•Lighting for Network Cameras: set-up, challenges and design tips
•Infra-Red vs. White-Light LED technology
•Standard Definition vs. Megapixel/HDTV
•Integrated Dome Lighting Demo
•Thermal and IR Demo
The sessions will highlight how new low energy LED technology can make cost savings over old inefficient lighting.
Attendees can see firsthand the integration of different components, get the best installation and set-up advice, and pose specific testing requests.
23rd November: Hertfordshire Golf Course, Broxbourne, Herts, EN10 7PY
29th November – Scotland: Bridgend Golf Club, Linlithgow, West Lothian, EH49 6NW
1st December – Ireland: Venue TCB.
