LSC Funding

by msecadm4921

Training firm SAFE report that they have gained access to the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) Employer Training Pilot funding in the Black Country, Derbyshire, and Birmingham.

Other regions are to be added shortly, the trainers add.

Under the scheme, SAFE is able to provide training and BTEC certification to SIA requirements for security officers at no cost to participating companies. In addition, for companies employing less than 250 people, the LSC makes a contribution to the employer for the cost of releasing the employee for training.

What they say

SAFE Operations Director, Moyna Clarke, says: “We are delighted to be able to offer this programme to our customers. The involvement of SAFE now provides employers with the opportunity to benefit from funded training provision through a class leading provider.” The scheme is available to anybody of 19 years of age or over with less than an NVQ level two or equivalent. For further details, ring Moyna on 020 7917 6239.
