Protector Group has developed the Lewis CCTV Camera Trailer, to offer monitored CCTV to temporary sites, which uses products supplied by distributor Norbain.
Designed for areas requiring temporary CCTV for short or extended periods, the Lewis trailer can be used across a variety of roles, such as to provide protection for building and demolition sites; to protect plant and materials, and to watch for health and safety.
Described as BS8418 compliant, portable, vandal-resistant, the patented trailer consists of four Norbain-supplied Redvision Dome cameras, mounted on 8m tall columns. One column is permanently mounted to the trailer’s chassis. The other three are unloaded on-site and placed up to 120m apart. Accompanied by Redwall movement detectors, images are archived within the trailer’s chassis via onboard Teleprecision transmission and recording units, again supplied by Norbain.
The trailer’s high-resolution live and recorded camera images can be remotely monitored via 3G/WiFi/IP connectivity, or if required, via an ‘on-site’ control room, switching to off-site remote monitoring during out-of-hours periods.
