Monitor Options

by msecadm4921

Vista has released a range of 15, 17 and 19-inch flat screen monitors. The CCTV brand says that they are suitable for installations where the look of the monitor is as important as the space-saving advantages.

Available as protos and lite options, all the models have front panel key locks to stop unwanted adjustment of monitor settings while the combination of a Vesa mount and desk stand allows the monitors to be mounted anywhere.

A response time of down to 5mS reduces blur on movement and the 1000:1 contrast further facilitates sharp images. The range comes with dual looping BNC connectors, S-Video, and PC and audioconnections. The internal clock can be used to give exact running time for any service queries.

The protos models use 3D comb filter technology to further improve image quality. Aimed at high-end installations, they have a glass front that protects the screen. Picture-in-Picture operation shows two inputs on the screen simultaneously and allows one image to be shown in a user-selectable corner of the screen.

“The monitors offer a space-saving, stylish solution for a wide range of applications and budgets,” says Mark Pritchard, divisional director of Vista. “The wide viewing angles ensure users get an excellent view of the scene in question, while the high contrast ratio and fast response times provide crystal clear images.”
