Pleasing Door System

Octagon Developments? luxury apartments and penthouses in Bryanston Square, London W1, required a reliable and aesthetically pleasing door entry system. Installers MR Security used a BPT Security Systems modular system, featuring video door entry panels with access control in a flush-mounted, solid brass setting. In the properties, a BPT monochrome four-inch flat screen monitor was chosen. For security for owners, guests and vehicles, a BPT porter switchboard stands in the reception point in the main building. This enables visitors to call a flat directly or, when in
intercept mode, all calls made from an entry panel to a flat are
diverted to the porter who can then transfer the call to the flat if the tenant wishes to speak to the visitor directly. Any of the
flats can call the porter and vice versa. The video door entry system also interfaces with a remote paging device so the porter is contactable when on his rounds. The garage has an entry panel linked directly to the porter’s desk. The panel includes an access control module to allow authorised visitors to open either the pedestrian or vehicular gate. Tony Bygraves, Managing Director of MR Security, stated: ?Octagon build prestigious houses and have won many awards themselves. We believe BPT to be the best product suitable to their range of developments.?
