Poacher Catcher is a stand alone, portable device containing a PIR (passive infra-red) sensor to detect an intruder up to 10 metres away. As soon as an intruder is detected the unit phones up to four designated phone numbers within 40 seconds. This device has many uses and can be positioned anywhere where a mobile phone network is available, the makers say. It’s suggested that the product could reduce the need for multiple patrol units and guards as well as securing specific access points.
