Securitas French Buy

The Swedish-based multi-national security contractor Securitas has agreed to acquire the commercial business contracts and assets of the security services company Assistance Sécurité Gardiennage (ASG) in France.

Enterprise value is estimated at three million euros.

ASG, a subsidiary of the French Group Assystem, has annual sales of about MSEK 125 (MEUR 14) and about 400 employees. The company is specialized in security services to the energy sector.

Securitas says that it is the market leader in security services in France, with about 20,000 employees. With the acquisition of ASG, Securitas will become it adds the leading player in the French private security market for energy customers.

The acquisition will be consolidated in Securitas AB as of June 1, 2011.
